Wilderness Weekend 12/6-8

Immerse yourself in the forest and reconnect to nature. Feel the freedom and peace available when the distractions, stresses and hurried pace of modern life is removed. In this class, you will learn, gain skills and apply principles from Fire 1, and Wilderness 1 and 2. Camp out with us under the the stars, by the fire, while sharpening your knife skills. This weekend course will re-awaken your senses to the world around you, and accelerate your learning of primitive, survival, and natural living skills.
No pre-requisites required.
Tent rentals are available if needed
$325/pp - $550/Couples - CALL FOR FAMILY RATES
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Cancellation Policy: Cancelations required before 72 hours of scheduled class time to qualify for class credit. Class credit available for one year. Refunds are not available.
To prepare for the weekend:
After you sign up for the course, you will receive an email to confirm your registration within a week leading up to the scheduled date, with more details pertaining to that specific day (as there may be changes due to weather, logistics or other field conditions).
However, note the following general information for meetup and the items to bring, to help you plan for class:
Meeting Place and Time:
Wilderness weekends are held at our location in Hopewell Junction and begin on a Friday evening after 4pm. Arrival time is flexible. Weekend ends Sunday afternoon.
What to Bring:
Water (We will have potable water on site)
All necessary food for the weekend, including snacks
Camping Gear
Dress in layers / dress appropriately for the weather
Notebook and pen
Knife (for those who need one, we have high quality standard ones for purchase onsite)
Insect repellent (mosquitoes, ticks, flies, gnats)
